The 2025 BETO Superhard Materials Production Department Employee Skills Competition Concludes Successfully

At 8:00 a.m. on December 19, 2025, as the morning sun rose over the BETO factory in Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, the award ceremony of the 2025 Superhard Materials Production Department Employee Skills Competition was held grandly. After more than two months of fierce competition, 71 winners who ranked top three in each process and 15 incentive award recipients stepped onto the podium to receive recognition from the company.
Launched in August for preparation, this competition was hosted by the Superhard Materials Production Department and co-organized by the Human Resources Department, Administration Department, Research Institute, Production Management Department and Quality Control Department I. With the objectives of improving employees' on-the-job skills, stimulating the learning enthusiasm of both new and senior employees, enhancing team cohesion and identifying on-the-job stars, the competition comprehensively promoted the improvement of employees' overall quality.
1. Scientific Planning and Strict Control of Assessment Standards
To ensure the professionalism and fairness of the competition, the organizing committee organized engineers from the Research Institute and Quality Control Department I to jointly formulate assessment standards for each process, as well as compile theoretical test papers and practical operation assessment key points. The competition process was rationally designed: in the first round, the top 40% of candidates in the theoretical exam were selected to enter the practical operation session, ensuring that every employee had the opportunity to participate and showcase their abilities.
The final results of the competition were comprehensively evaluated based on theoretical scores (accounting for 40%) and practical operation scores (accounting for 60%). After the competition, the planning team summarized and ranked the results according to the scoring sheets and submitted them to the leading group for final review. The leading group had the final right to review the qualifications of the winners and the veto power over candidates who caused serious quality accidents during the competition.
2. Skill Showdown and Demonstration of the Craftsman Spirit
The skills competition was officially launched on October 24. Candidates who passed the theoretical exam entered the practical operation session starting from November 6. The competition content was closely linked to actual production, comprehensively assessing employees' theoretical foundation and operational capabilities.
At the practical operation site, the candidates remained calm and focused. Every step, from material collection and equipment debugging to finished product inspection, was carried out in a rigorous and standardized manner, demonstrating their superb professional quality and solid technical skills. They were both competitors and comrades-in-arms, encouraging each other and making progress together during the competition, which reflected BETO's talent philosophy of "valuing both moral character and professional competence".
3. Fruitful Achievements and Setting Advanced Models
After more than a month of intense competition, the contests for all processes were successfully completed. In the end, 71 candidates won the top three prizes in each process, and 15 employees were awarded incentive prizes. The organizing committee also selected the top three team awards based on the average scores to recognize the collaborative spirit of outstanding teams.
At the award ceremony, Mr. Tang, the company's deputy general manager, delivered a concluding speech. He encouraged employees to continuously improve their skills, strive to become world-class employees, support the high-quality development of the enterprise, and contribute to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
This skills competition effectively assessed employees' skill levels and created a positive atmosphere of "learning from each other, catching up and surpassing others" across the company. By identifying on-the-job stars, it set learning benchmarks for employees and further promoted the construction of the company's talent team.
